In a rapidly evolving music industry where digital platforms and commercial pressures continue to sideline world-class musicians, Third Way Cultural Alliance is pioneering a new model for artist sustainability.

Third Way presents a simple and powerful system for the creation of new, culturally important music. Elegant in design, simple in process, and proven to easily connect donors and musicians, the Third Way platform is changing the way artists make music and the way listeners value that music.

An important part of our work in elevating the understanding of the true value of music as art, Third Way offers unique music presentations in partnership with museums, galleries, gardens, and community centers. Recordings are presented as a living, listening experience to convey the full story of the music. Third Way is actively collaborating with curators, visual artists, and videographers to develop unique and engaging experiences. Recent discussions include, but are not limited to:

Listening stations with visual storyline.

Speaker Array: Surround sound (spatial audio) presentations with isolated recordings of each instrument, culminating in full mixed audio.

Music & Art: Pairing audio with existing or new art exhibits around similar themes.

Meet The Artist: Artist presentations and discussion articulating the process, the intent, and the development of the recording. In person and video options.

Concerts: Live performances, premiering recorded material.

Artifacts: Physical display of the instruments used in the recording, with video or in-person narration.

Collaborating with important cultural centers in this way not only elevates the music to its proper level, it offers museums, gardens, and community centers an opportunity to engage audiences with a memorable experience. Conversations around music reach us all, informing us of the world and our common interests.
